Book Ideas

Image
I literally started when my father bought a video course on Udemy. There were two women, Jessica and Joanne who write and have successfully published fantasy and fiction novels before. Now, self–publishing is easier than finding publishers and begging them to publish our books. I learned from the videos about writing prompts which are powerful elements to improve the imagination and flow of writing. I started with the prompts of character description but I recommend you if you are writing a story or a novel, try to outline the details first. To create a writing flow, try to write the thoughts and distractions on a notepad that comes in your way. Today, I’ll give you a short description of my first upcoming novel (Next para). Its main theme is yet unknown. I’m unable to cope up with my writing routine so a pattern should be followed. I saw a video on Instagram of Chetan Bhagat. He said that in the winters if a student has the ability to leave his / her comforter, removes his distr...

The Question - A short story

Her almond eyes were twinkling in the starlight on a cold barren land in New Jersey when a chair came in her way. Wiping her nose, she stood beside the chair sparkling colors and a small globe of Earth revolving on its seat. A voice trembling and changing exclaimed,” Welcome to the first round of ALC – Another Life Challenge. Yeah, that’s right. We’ll give you another life on this planet of your choice. But we need an answer to a question we ask and the answer will be calculated and analyzed. Accordingly, if it’s right you’ll get the reward. But if you lose you won’t get another life but satisfaction. So you ready to play?” It sounds appealing , she thought. She slowly walked away from the chair. She tried to jump and rolled her eyes here and there to check if it was a prank. “You can’t walk away.” The voice ended and a small area got covered with a transparent sheet. She tried to punch and cut the sheet but it burnt her hands.  The world raged into flames and only the cover...

Creative Commons screwed me It was a normal evening. Nothing unusual. Two helmets kept on the living room’s stylish wooden teapoy in front of a big sofa on which I sat cross-legged. Usually my days over having the same heartbeat every day. Like Kabir says,” every day should be so marvelous that I sense my heartbeat becomes audible. Ohh my! Actually, it’s 2:39, I didn’t see the 1 before 4. (14:39):) Semester 1 finished and I started blogging. My first blog. It’s not about any magic or science infotainment. Just clarifying my thoughts which are jammed inside. My eyes are drooping a little. Today, I tried a lot to understand that creative commons feature on YouTube. Different guys on YouTube are downloading video files and publishing the same downloaded video files with other names. They succeed in earning watch time and subscribers. But, in reality, if the actual creator of those videos gets known of their hideous acts, then they are gonna spend their nights behind the bars. I had a grea...

Past writing experiences – Some old days It’s been years since I came from my native place. Punjab, the state of five rivers. There is a small town known as Bathinda where I lived in my childhood till 10th with my grandparents. I don’t have many happy incidents so I am gonna move on to my writing. In writing, I have been criticized and praised at the same time. If you want to be a writer, you should learn and accept your mistakes in the draft which the reader tells you. I believe that’s the best advice from me you’ll ever get. New writers may handle it difficult to go through the criticism for their first drafts or second drafts. I myself have worked hard on criticism due to which I am able to see a deeper version of mistakes that I did. Never give your draft to your parents. You can give it to your siblings. Parents mostly praise our work, they also tell our mistakes which we improve and again get bored with writing. If you give it to your sibling, he/she is going to help y...

The interest to read after I began writing

I never liked reading novels or short stories, etc. Until… When I wrote the first few pages of a story, that happiness was so much that I couldn’t handle it. Why? Because I rarely read stories and had never tried to imagine the characters immersed in a story. The fantasy imagining power flowed inside me through a lot of video games. Story-based video games gave me the strength I had ever imagined. I thought of writing. My stories. Novels. Short stories. I loved the thought of becoming a writer. I gave it to my father for proofreading. He cheered on the pages and the writing. Then, I self-published that story after completing it. But still, it wasn’t one that would attract an audience. I believe people might have seen it as a distraction towards good books. While editing, the size of my story’s draft got mistakenly selected A-4 size. I resolved it when I created an e-Book version with a second paperback version of a smaller and appropriate size for published fiction stories. After...

The first one. The Small one.

Blogging and YouTube are believed to be the greatest platforms to earn income.  There are equal opportunities in both. Absolute dedication is needed to earn an active income in blogging. For blogging in any language, you need to perfect the language you actually want to use in your blog. The knowledge of the Internet is also equally important. It's nearly 11'40. I must go to sleep. It's late and I have a busy schedule. Exams in a few days. Also to publish some of my writings. I have also increased happiness and satisfaction in gaining patience and respect in the company of my friends. They are the secondary caretakers of me. As the primary are my grandparents. Tertiary caretakers are my parents who have a busy work-life.  Any site we load, it's filled with information. All are blogs. They are our key to information. We have millions of gems in the bags of data. The self-confidence and self-esteem are also important factors in working process and improvisation in the qua...
